All Carraro valves are designed with the environment in mind. Made from recyclable materials that require no special disposal, they help reduce the environmental impact of industrial processes.
Our valves operate without the need for external energy and deliver long-lasting, high performance in plants around the world—reducing costs and maintenance while enhancing the energy efficiency of the systems in which they are installed.
Sustainable packaging and responsible waste management
Our packaging is also designed with sustainability in mind. We use certified wooden crates and cardboard boxes filled with recycled materials to ensure effective product protection while minimizing environmental impact.
All waste generated in our facilities is classified according to the European Waste Catalogue (EWC) and disposed of by specialized, authorized companies in full compliance with European regulations.
Clean energy and energy independence
Since 2023, our facility has been powered by a modern photovoltaic system, allowing us to achieve near-total energy independence. This represents a major step toward self-sufficiency and reduced CO₂ emissions—fully aligned with energy transition goals.
UNI EN ISO 14001 environmental certification
Our environmental commitment is both recognized and certified. Since 2009, Carraro Valvole has held UNI EN ISO 14001 certification, confirming the implementation of an effective environmental management system in line with international standards.
The certification is regularly audited and renewed by accredited third-party organizations, ensuring the credibility and consistency of our ongoing journey toward sustainable improvement.
